DESCRIPTION:Inwood Art Works presents \nPaintings by Pablo Caviedes \nOctober 8rd to November 1\, 2026  \nOpening Celebration: October 8 at 7pm.  \nInwood Art Works Studio\n112 Seaman Ave.\nInwood\, NYC \nFree and open to the public. \nBorn in 1971 in Cotacachi\, Ecuador\, Pablo Caviedes has been exhibiting his work for more than thirty years. In fact\, since 1990\, his amazing images have graced prominent venues in Paris\, France\, Poland\, Germany\, and the United States\, just to name a few.  \nIn 1998 in Paris\, he was one of ten artists\, under 40 years-of-age\, selected for the critically acclaimed\, art historically significant\, comprehensive and pivotal exhibit titled Emergent Artists from Latin America and the Caribbean\, identifying a new generation of important up-and-coming Latino artists. \nAfter moving to Manhattan in 2001\, he’s been regularly displaying his animistic work throughout New York City\, along with participating in critically acclaimed group and solo shows within the greater metropolitan area.

The Uptown Cabaret offers unforgettable performances by local musical theater singers\, composers and lyricists from Broadway and the professional theater in Inwood\, NYC! The Uptown Cabaret will occur every Second Monday of the Month. \nHeadliner Amy Engelhardt \nHosted by Alexandra de Suze \nFeaturing performances by Eric Vetter\, Richard Binder\, Brown Furlo\, Miles Blue Spruce\, Carl Fortunato\, Sierra Rein\, and Ian Broadsky.  \nBridge and tunnel theatre kid AMY ENGELHARDT recently came back to roost in NY after a long west coast detour and is really thrilled about it! Amy co-wrote lyrics and scored Off-Broadway Alliance Best New Musical Nominee BASTARD JONES (2x Eugene O’Neill/Richard Rodgers Award Finalist) at the cell theatre\, TRIPTYCH (NY Transit Museum commission)\, A COMEDY OF ERAS (ACT Seattle w/Flying Karamazov Brothers)\, O’Neill semifinalist/Kleban Prize finalist A COLLECTIBLE SENSATION (with Arianna Rose) and THE WILLING (Minneapolis TBA 2027). Her solo show IMPACT won the Best Score Jury Prize at the National Women’s Theatre Festival and has been produced at the Edinburgh Fringe\, The Tank NYC\, Fountain Theatre (LA) and London’s Voila Festival. Amy also co-created TUNE IN TIME\, NYC’s Musical Theater Game Show with producer Heather Shields (“the BMI workshop on steroids” – Stage Buddy) and is a MAC Songwriting Award winner. She toured as the resident “sub-lebrity” with Harry Shearer and Judith Owen’s CHRISTMAS WITHOUT TEARS annually (NY\, Chicago\, LA and New Orleans) and has appeared many times at Don’t Tell Mama\, the Duplex\, 54 Below\, the Green Room 42 and No Name’s downtown variety shows. From 1998-2012\, Amy was the sole female writer/performer/producer in Grammy-nominated vocal quartet THE BOBS.
