Where is the venue located and is it ADA accessible?
The Studio is located storefront at 112 Seaman Avenue and its entrance is wheelchair accessible from the sidewalk at 204th Street and Seaman Avenue.
When is the Studio open?
The Studio is open for events as scheduled on Inwood Art Worksâs website and by appointment. To request an appointment, please email info@inwoodartworks.nyc with âStudio Appointmentâ in the subject line.
Can I smoke in the space?
Smoking is not permitted.
Is outside food or beverages permitted?
Only for approved private events. Personal water bottles are permitted.

How much wall space do you have to exhibit visual art?
There is over 50â of wall space dedicated to exhibiting visual art. Our rail system is a Systematic Arts Moderna Picture Rail with a weight Capacity of 251.3 lbs / 114 kg.
What is a sprung floor and why do you have one?
A sprung floor is a specially designed floor that absorbs shock, providing a softer, safer surface for dance, sports, and performance activities. They are considered the best kind for dance and physical movement and can enhance performance and greatly reduce injuries.
Do you rent the space?
We rent to people and groups we know that are responsible and will respect the space. Insurance is required.
We are primarily a community-centric public programming space for supporting Inwood Art Worksâs mission. When possible, our venue may be rented for film premieres, private screenings or events, gallery shows, corporate events, workshops, readings, community events, and more.
What is the policy for Studio use?
Inwood Art Works has a commonsense policy and we expect our renters to abide by it.
Do you have a stage?
We have an Executive Tri-Height Mobile Folding Stage System (1 pc of 4×8 platform @ 8″, 16″ or 24″ High) with Industrial black finish available to rent.
Do you have a piano?
We have a Casio Privia PX-S1100 Digital Piano with seat available for rent.
Do you have a PA?
We have a Fender Passport Conference S2 Portable PA System
The Passport Conference S2’s integrated 5-channel mixer has plenty of inputs â suitable for a small band, large meetings, panel discussions, and any intimate event. With a 1/8″ stereo input and Bluetooth compatibility, piping in streaming audio and pre-recorded material is effortless. Inputs: 3 x XLR, 3 x TS, 1 x 1/4″ stereo, and 1 x 1/8″ stereo.
