Raya and the Last Dragon

In a realm known as Kumandra, a re-imagined Earth inhabited by an ancient civilization, a warrior named Raya is determined to find the last dragon to restore the fractured land and its divided people. Raya and the Last Dragon features the voices of Kelly Marie Tran as Raya, a warrior whose wit is as sharp as her blade, and Awkwafina as the magical, mythical, self-deprecating dragon named Sisu.
A pre-show local musical performance begins at 7:30pm, and food and drink is available for purchase at the venue until 9pm. Capacity is limited to 200 people and admission is free only with RSVP ticket. Unclaimed tickets will be released to the walk-up wait list ten minutes before the film starts. Seating for 80 people will be provided on a first come, first served basis, but you can also bring your own folding chairs if you prefer.
Presented by Film Works Alfresco, New York City’s only English and Spanish language free outdoor cinema series. This important film program expands public access to professional filmmaking in Northern Manhattan, and presents as diverse an array of films as the community it serves. Due to capacity restrictions at the venue, tickets (free) are required so reserve your spot soon!
